Professor Javed Ahmed is a member of British Cardiac Society (BCS) and British Cardiovascular Interventional Society (BCIS). Dr Javed Ahmed did his advanced fellowship at the world renowned heart centre in Washington DC, USA. He has produced several publications in peer reviewed journals. His research interests include Invasive Coronary Imaging and Re-stenosis after coronary stenting.
Several years of experience in the field of Cardiology and has been a Consultant Cardiologist at Freeman Hospital NHS Trust since 2001.
Dr Javed Ahmed has considerable experience in the field of cardiology for several years has developed expertise in all aspects of clinical and Interventional cardiology including: Coronary angiography, Coronary angioplasty and Stenting
Angina Pectoris, Hypertension, Lipid management, Heart Failure, Cardiomyopathy, Echocardiography, Ambulatory Heart Monitoring, Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring and Arrhythmias particularly Atrial Fibrillation
